STEP 1
VFW Post 12205 Membership Application
Please download the membership application below. For those seeking to become a new member of the VFW, please select the New Member Application below. Ensure that you complete all fields
- Enter your name, Date of Birth, mailing address, email, dates of military service, locations served.
- Select your current military status and Branch(es) of service.
- Select your Qualifying Foreign Service (may select more than one)
- Choose your membership type, Annual or Life Membership.
For Life Member and Life Member Installment, ensure that you use the amounts listed in the Life Member Options box that correspond with your age group.
- Enter your payment information. If paying by personal check, make the check to: Bulverde VFW Post 12205.
- Sign and Date the Payment Authorization
- Sign and Date your attestation that the information on the form is true and accurate and that you understand the terms and conditions.
STEP 2
ATTACH ELIGIBILITY VERIFICATION
You will need to attach a copy of your DD-214 with your membership application to verify your eligibility. If you do not have a copy of your DD-214, please click the button below to obtain your DD-214 from the National Archives.
NOTE: Your application is not complete and WILL NOT be processed without verification of your eligibility to join the VFW. If you do not have your DD-214, but have other official government documentation (i.e. mobilization orders, awards, etc.) you may submit those documents for consideration.
